The Topshop Edit

For me, there is only one way to get through the stress of my dissertation and that is by rewarding myself (rewards combined with copious amounts of coffee and dark chocolate)

1000 words done – reward, another 1000 words- reward… hit the 5000 mark – bigger reward (I’m sure you get the idea); so where better to look for the perfect rewards than Topshop. Fashionable, affordable, and mainly down to the fact that I have been saving my Christmas Topshop vouchers for this very occasion.

Trying to be sensible, I kept summer holiday plans in mind (hence the beachy dresses and the crop top), but my will-power was tested and defeated by the prospect of bright knits (perfect for Spring), cut-out boots and an on trend sweat dress (which I will most definitely be wearing to LFW next week).

I’m sure to have let a can of worms loose by doing this post since my mother follows this blog…. but nonetheless here is my edit of my favourite Topshop items from their Spring | Summer collection.

The Topshop Edit

Mirror Cheetah Crop Top - £14

Watermelon Lace Trim Socks – £3.50

Aubery Open Side Chunky Boots – £75

Mix Match Sweat Dress – £38

Oversized Dip Dye Tee – £20

Stripe Band Back Dress – Topshop £26*

Black Fringe Maxi Cover Up – £32

*I could only find the link to the ‘Tall’ version of this dress, but there is a normal version in store as well as a petite version (for fellow hobbits).

With only a few thousand words to go, it is safe to say I have rewarded myself enough and that I solemnly swear I will be refraining from any further purchases….. until further notice.
